The design and use process of dry-type transformers fully comply with modern environmental protection requirements, without any harmful pollution:
No oil pollution, avoiding soil/water damage
If an oil immersed transformer leaks oil, the insulation oil will seep into the soil, pollute groundwater, and it is difficult to clean up; Dry type transformers have no oil throughout the entire process, and there is no problem of "oil leakage pollution". There is no need to set up anti leakage facilities such as oil pits and oil barriers, and they have zero damage to the surrounding environment (such as residential areas, scenic areas, and water sources), which meets the requirements of environmental protection departments for "oil-free distribution".
Low noise, reducing sound pollution
The iron core of dry-type transformers is made of high magnetic conductivity silicon steel sheets (such as 30Q130), and vibration is reduced through processes such as stepped joints and vacuum impregnation; The cooling fan (if equipped with forced air cooling) also uses a low-noise motor, and the operating noise is usually only 40-65dB (equivalent to normal conversation volume), much lower than oil immersed transformers (about 60-80dB). It can be directly installed in noise sensitive areas such as office buildings, hospital wards, etc., without the need for additional sound insulation treatment.
